Why computers

Who doesn’t use a computer these days?  You are looking at this on a computer right now!

Googling something has become a part of everyday language and everyday activity.

As a simple tool, email has transformed the way we all communicate.

We believe that access to information like this is a basic human right, not a privilege.

No status or wealth should be required.

Computers are a common tool which enable charitable organisations to run more efficiently, greater educational opportunities to be delivered, and new skills to be learned; and as such they should be available to all…

…and that’s where we get involved.

It’s simple.

We take something that somebody doesn’t want any more.

We fix it up.

And then we give it to someone who really needs it.
