16th March 2022 – One of the immediate consequences of the war in Ukraine is a huge number of internally displaced children and disruption to their education. With many schools in front line areas destroyed or unsafe, finding ways for children to safely continue their education is a priority.
Reusing IT has been approached by the charity Yorkshire Aid Convoy, with whom we previously worked in Romania, to supply laptops to help support education in Ukraine. The devices will be delivered by Yorkshire Aid Convoy along with their humanitarian aid.
When we worked with Yorkshire Aid Convey in Romania, we could not have imagined that we would be called on to support civilians in a country at war in Europe, but we are thankful to be able to help with this donation of laptops for a cause which is firmly within the remit of our charity’s aims. We wish the convoy a safe journey.
