Ross meeting important leaders in Ukraine to discuss Reusing IT's continued efforts

Reusing IT and Ukrainian Government sign an agreement for the supply of computers for education

Kyiv, 24th July 2023  – Following our work in the west of Ukraine, where we have been delivering laptops since the outbreak of the war, the Ukrainian Government invited us to Kyiv to discuss how we could formally support them with device supply into regions most critically affected by the war.

Ross Cockburn met with Oksen Lisovyi, Minister for Education and Science; Yevhen Kudriavets, the Deputy Minister; and Roksolana Shvadchak, Directorate of Digital Transformation.  Up until now, the government has used only new devices, but the magnitude of the requirement now means that new approaches and new avenues of supply are required. As part of the discussions, the Ministry for Education and Science tested devices that were typical of what Reusing IT will be supplying, as using refurbished devices is a major departure from their normal modus operandi.

Reusing IT and the Minster for Education and Science signed a Memorandum of Understanding to work on a project called “Unbreakable Education.” Reusing IT will supply laptops and desktops for schools and for the homes of children forced to homeschool due to the war.
