West Lothian, Scotland, 30th July 2020 – The School Bank West Lothian approached Reusing IT to seek support for families who need devices for education in West Lothian during lockdown. With schools closed and lessons moved online, it has become apparent that many children do not have access to a device at home.
Ross says, “We have become aware of charities like The School Bank during lockdown. Covid has shone a light on what was lurking in the dark recesses of need in our community.”
Through West Lothian Council’s new Digital Inclusion Group, we met online with other organisations trying to support families with devices for their children’s education.
