Kevin and Ross will be attending the next meeting of The NextPath Device Consortium in London on Monday 15th. Reusing IT has been involved from the very start, proud to be members of and we look forward working with the other members and taking an active role in what we hope is a giant step forward for 100% digital inclusion in the UK.
It will be great to be in the room as Paul Finnis and Freddie Quek have gathered a strong team of people that simply like to get things done!
NextPath Device Consortium
- Tech-Driven Movement – Led by the tech sector for the tech sector using our expertise and resources driving policies and standards to extend device life, maximise reuse, minimise e-waste to provide an affordable, sustainable and scalable solution.
- Global Gadget Gateway – A collective call to action—companies and organisations of all sizes, uniting to donate and distribute devices. Together, we’re building a rolling stock large enough to close the gap, locally and globally and sustainably.
- Open and Inclusive – No rules, no requirements. If you’re part of the digital inclusion chain, you’re already in. We connect and empower you to act faster and more effectively—on your terms.
- Empowering Action – Through #JoiningTheDots, we’re driving immediate impact by enabling anyone, anywhere, to contribute today.
- Focused Impact – One solution, one focus: devices. We’re scaling existing solutions to be more strategic, impactful, and far-reaching.
“A newly formed tech-sector driven consortium (The NextPath Device Consortium) in the UK is putting guidance on how organisations should consider device disposal at the point of Procurement… Leaders may wish to include an EOL clause to ensure that technology is passed on to a responsible third-party which ensures that technology is kept out of landfill and is reused. For example, leaders can follow the guidance from the tech-sector driven consortium, NextPath Device Consortium, on how to dispose of devices which can maximise ESG goals, minimise e-waste and achieve high social impact.”
